What are Virtual Speakers?
Every year, John Maxwell holds an in-person Live2Lead event with speakers from around the world. These sessions are recorded made exclusively available for Maxwell Certified Leaders to re-play from October to February 28th all across the globe!
We will be re-playing four of the speakers from the live 2025 event on a very large screen at 201 Mesquite Center on January 29th, 2026 starting at 9:00am. Throughout the event, we will also have table discussions, activities, and a panel of LIVE speakers to discuss topics important to Abilene and the Big Country! And if you stick around for a bit longer, we’re going to have an awesome After Hours event full of networking and opportunities!
What is the location for this event?
201 Mesquite Event Center is located at 201 Mesquite St, Abilene, TX 79601. There is plenty of FREE parking directly outside of the building.
Is this event virtual or in-person?
This is an in-person event with virtual speakers followed by a live panel! Being an in-person event, we will provide a light breakfast with coffee and tea throughout the day, as well as a BBQ lunch, followed by drinks and hors d’oeuvres for the After Hours event attendees.
Do I need a hotel?
Maybe! This is a full-day event for residents of Abilene and the Big Country. If you live close by, you will have plenty of time to return home. But if you are traveling from more than an hour or two, we would recommend one of Abilene’s many fine hotels!
What can I expect at the After Hours Party?
Keep the momentum going after Live2Lead! Join us for a relaxed evening of connection, conversation, and community. Your ticket includes 2 drink tickets (beer or wine), hors d’oeuvres, and time to network with fellow leaders.
